A pawn is a loan. It works like this:

• You bring in something you own and give it to us to hold as collateral.
• We will typically loan 40 to 80% of the current used value of your item.
• When you repay the loan plus interest, the pawned article is returned to you.
• If you don’t repay the loan, after 60 days the pawned item becomes the property of the pawn shop. The collateral is put out for sale and the debt is canceled.
